If it isn't life giving, it isn't worth doing.

Shamanic Divination ~ Windsor-Essex County, ON

A bit of background…

The Shamanism definition as listed on Wikipedia is “a practice that involves a practitioner reaching altered states of consciousness in order to perceive and interact with a spirit world and channel these transcendental energies into this world.”  It has been practiced for thousands of years, dating back to the Stone Age.  Shamans have a tremendous love for the animal kingdom, nature and mother earth; working extensively with their animal guides and power animals.  The core thought is that everything is energy and therefore alive.  The spirit world could be whatever you consider higher, as in existing in Heaven, Deities, the Divine, Angels, God, loved ones in Spirit, Spirit Guides, Spirits of the Earth, Ascended Masters, the Universal, Source, etc.

Shamanic divination is the art of seeing and interpreting signs in everything around us.  The art and practice of seeking hidden knowledge by the interpretation of information given by the non-ordinary about events past, present and future from a higher source.

Divination can provide answers to all the questions that you have.  Shamanic practitioners use three divination methods which are journeying, spirit embodiment and divination tools.  I will be working with two of the methods.

In journeying, the practitioner enters the spirit world to access information directly from the source and retrieves information. The inner self is in constant communication with all aspects of your existence. Drumming and rattling are excellent ways to induce a divination trance, allowing the practitioner to perceive energetic frequencies in a unique way. The practitioner receives energies and then interprets that into their own symbolic language.  Following the journey, the meaning of the trance experience must then be interpreted.

When using a divination tool, the practitioner enters an altered state and allows the patterns in the tool to determine the message from spirit.  For the purpose of the services I am offering here, this is the technique I will be using most often.

Divination is practiced in all religions and non-religions alike. Anyone with a connection, religious or not, is able to receive Divine information.

Some people that have been practicing Shamanism claim to be a Shaman.  However, the term “Shaman” is reserved for those residing in a Shamanic culture where their community has deemed them to be a Shaman through ceremony.  Out of respect, I do not use that title and refer to myself as a Shamanic Practitioner instead that practices the ways of the Shaman.

The service I offer…

Shamanism can change your life, and can illuminate issues that you have been fighting with for a lifetime.

There is an art and skill to forming shamanic divination questions, and that is part of the service I will be offering.

Imagine you are attempting to capture the wonders of the ocean on camera while standing on the beach.  You look down and see the stones that have been tumbled and smoothed by the water laying on the glittering sand while the waves lap up on shore.  Is this what you are hoping to capture or with a different lens, a picture of the ocean at the horizon capturing its vastness which speaks to its magnificence and its mystery?

Intention is vital.

When we work on your divination question, I will ensure I have a good understand of your specific issue before I choose the right lens so we can focus on what you really need to know. Any aspect of your life that is important to you can be the subject of a divination question.

The helping source can answer questions in many different ways. Sometimes, they offer straight-forward advice, and sometimes they reply with metaphoric answers that require contemplation. I have witnessed these metaphoric answers resulting in amazing life changes.  They may advise you about your spiritual, emotional, psychological or physical health. They may have transcendent information to share with you. They may give you information on a particular kind of shamanic work you need to commit to or they may even perform a healing.

Divination works well through a long-distance session no matter where you live.

Once you book an appointment, we’ll schedule a time to talk so we can define and shape your question. Then, I will do the shamanic work in my office, and email the answers I have received directly to you.  After reviewing the results, we can schedule a time to chat on the telephone or through e-mail if you need additional clarification.  The entire process will typically take just over two hours.  You and I will work together for approximately 1 hour.

There are some simple rules to be aware of before you book a divination session.

First, you can only ask questions about yourself, and not about someone else.  If you haven't yet read the Ethics page please do so.

Framing complex questions is important, but again, intention is vital to all Shamanic work. This means that if the focus is too wide or there are too many questions folded into one, you will receive confusing information rather than meaningful answers.

You do NOT have to have the question phrased before we begin our work. Once the appointment is set, we'll work together to be sure that you are asking the question you really want to ask.

You can contact me at any time if you have questions, and when you are ready to begin the process click here.
